Georgina Taft
Georgina Taft qualified in 1993 from Manchester University. She gained her initial experience in both Birmingham and London, working for the NHS, private sector and within the military. She also had the opportunity to work abroad, including Australia, voluntary work in Calcutta and working as a physiotherapist in the French Alps.
Over the last 15 years she has gained a breath of experience working with a wide variety of elite sports. These include England and GB Hockey, England Badminton, England Netball and England Womens' Rugby (George was the physio at the Women's Rugby World Cup) as well as work with Para Olympian athletes.
In May 2008 Georgina joined Clare Woodward at ‘Back into Action’, she has found that her breadth of experience has been of huge benefit in her Private Practice work. More specifically, having been involved in top level sport, she has a full appreciation of how important it is for people to be able to continue to participate in their chosen activity. With this in mind, she believes that a fast effective solution is what we should always be striving for.
In her spare time Georgina enjoys long distance running and mountain biking as well as hockey, water sports and skiing.
