Laura Collins
Laura Collins completed a BSc in Sport Science and Physical Education at Loughborough University, specialising in sport psychology, skill acquisition, fitness and training before qualifying as a physiotherapist from Coventry University in 2004.
Laura started her physiotherapy career in the NHS Worcestershire where she gained experience in the core areas of physiotherapy before specialising in musculoskeletal and sports injuries. Laura worked alongside Clare Woodward at Worcester Rugby Club and has also worked at Moseley Rugby Club, a number of hockey clubs and in private practices where she specialised in the treatment of runners and triathletes.
Laura is an excellent hockey player, having competed at national and international level, and it is playing hockey that has enabled her to understand injuries, sport and physiotherapy and truly understand the need to get back into action as soon as possible, that need to make the next training session and be ready to play in the next game.
In her spare time, as well as playing hockey, Laura enjoys running and has competed in half marathons and events such as Tough Guy.
