Lucy Richens
Lucy qualified with a first class honours degree in physiotherapy from the University of Birmingham in 2008. She started her career working for the NHS in Gloucestershire, gaining experience in a variety of disciplines, before specialising in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Lucy has worked with Worcester Reds netball team, who compete in National Premier League 1, and maintains close links with the club. Her experience has allowed her to gain a wealth of knowledge in treating a wide range of conditions and the opportunity to work with national and international standard athletes. Lucy has also developed a specialism in treating musculoskeletal pain during pregnancy whilst working for the NHS.
Prior to physio, Lucy gained a degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Leeds Met Carnegie University which she finds complements her physio well. She is also a qualified APPI Pilates instructor.
In her spare time Lucy enjoys playing netball, which she has played at national level, as well as tennis and skiing.
